The afternoon chez Karin Häll in Västberga. Love how she thinks and talks about art and get along so well. A beautiful new book of drawings of hers, ’bor och
verkar’ just came out and she is currently in the process of preparing for participation in a three-person exhibition at Benhuset which I’m looking forward to
in May. Karin is one of those artist’s artists who can pinpoint tendencies in art and is specific with not wanting her own art to materialize in a complacent,
sentimental and overly romantic expression which I can appreciate looking at her art. There is an ”unprecious” yet apt and perceptive approach with
orchestrating materials that partially makes her an interesting sculptor.
